Ethical purchasing workbook available for healthcare

The Ethical Procurement for Health Workbook is now available at http://www.fairmedtrade.org.uk/. Click on link on this homepage. The full version is quite long, but there is a summary sheet. I would urge anybody involved in purchasing instruments and materials for healthcare to read this. Although largely directed to NHS purchasing, the message is clear. This all relates to the poor labour conditions found in the manufacture of some instruments and materials in developing countries. I have blogged about this before.
