For many years Powerpoint held sway as far as slide shows went. However, this is now threatened by web based applications. What has this got to do with a practicing dentist? Well, the point is that these presentations can be shared very easily, and have an app. like appearance when viewed on smartphones. Here is one I published in order to promote oral hygiene advice, which I have promoted through Twitter. The software I have used is Sliderocket which appears excellent. The only problem is that some slides appear a bit fuzzy on Blackberries, but all other platforms seem fine. I think this is a great way to put out practice information.
