PCT reprieve?

The Telegraph online believes that Clegg has hinted that PCTs may be saved.

Although close reading of the article appears to suggest that he wasn't going to be drawn on anything regarding PCTs. I don't know if that counts as a hint or not. However, we, dentists and others, have to start thinking about where we might be headed. Are dental services to be commissioned by a National Commissioning Board, or by PCTs (possibly retained as clusters), do PCTs still have the staff (many have left). Do dentists view retention of PCTs as a good thing or a bad thing? Would they prefer, or not prefer, a National Commissioning Board?
