It has been going round and round in my head why Norman Lamb, somebody who would have been close to Clegg on health issues and therefore very likely to have been accepting of the proposals in the White Paper, Equity and Excellence, would resign because of those same proposals. Fortunately, John Redwood has clarified things for me.
